Mother fugding awesome Camp & Furnace wedding, Liverpool - Laura & Ross

Wow.  What a day on Saturday.  From the amazing Philharmonic Gospel Choir (coming downstairs in St George's Hall to hear them singing 'Say A Little Prayer' - goosebumps) to the two wonderful yet completely different venues, the stunning dress (and beautiful bridesmaids dresses) made by Laura's talented sister and mum aka Jessica Bennett Bespoke Bride and the emotional, heartfelt & hilarious speeches.  Laura's Dad surprised her with a song - but he got some help with the singing part from a close family friend (with a beautiful voice!) who sang 'I loved her first'.  Not a dry eye.

It. Was. Brilliant.

AND I had the wonderful Kelly (the pretty half of Paul Joseph Photography) second shooting with me.  Thank you Kel. xx

Laura & Ross... you were bloody awesome.  Thank you for trusting me, for being so good together and for the many many laughs.  Lots of love and happy honeymoon!  xxx

One Friendly Place wedding, Greenwich, London - Anna & Mat sneak previews

Balloons (not just ANY balloons... ), a circus/skull cake, pizza van, bubble guns, goody bags with flying glider planes and parachute men, local beer, two brilliant bands, paper lanterns, giant light up L O V E letters made by the groom (impressive), pie, confetti cannons....  its fair to say Anna & Mat's wedding day was awesome. You may however notice one key thing missing - a ceremony.  That's because they got married earlier in the year with just a few close friends and family members.  They then planned this, their 'shomance' wedding - one big party with everyone they love under one roof (and on it - that was the one place there was a breeze on what turned out to be an unbelievably hot day).   I rocked up at Anna & Mat's flat where they were getting ready together - Mat was even doing Anna's hair.  HE'S A KEEPER!   And I got to hang out with Hendrix, the second best dog ever, who gave me lots of attention and cuddles.  Always the best start to any day.

SO here are (quite) a few sneak previews for the happy couple.  Anna & Mat it was such a pleasure (apart from the sweating part, but we all did that!) and I love that it was impossible to do a straight faced photo because you didn't stop laughing all day.  And why would you when you have a laugh as brilliant (read: dirty) as Anna's!

Thank you for looking after me SO well.  I have made new friends in you both (and Hendrix) and I loved spending time with you and chatting to your friends and family who were really wonderful.  Lots of love xxxxx

Hope Street Hotel & Oh Me Oh My wedding, Liverpool - Emma & Shane sneak previews

Friday's wedding... well I just loved it so much.  Emma & Shane have a wonderful long distance love story (which you can read about here) and anyone can see they are so totally in love, it was easy to get swept up in the romance.  You'd also be hard pressed to meet two more laid back people on their wedding day!   The weather was pretty spectacular, their friends and family were awesome and all the little touches that Emma and her sister Annmarie worked so hard on looked beautiful.  We got to shoot in lots of locations around Liverpool which was great, ending up opposite the Liver Building at rush hour - cue lots of beeping and people shouting 'Congratulations!'.  : ) Add to all that an amazing supporting cast of suppliers that I know and love - two great venues Hope Street Hotel and Oh Me Oh My, the beautiful dress from Vicky at Isla Jean Bridal (who saved the day, just weeks before the wedding), an incredible cake from Laura's Little Bakery and the inimitable Strange Case Collective on photo booth duty!   And not forgetting Verity & Thyme - creator of Emma's stunning flower crown and bouquet.

Emma & Shane... congratulations and lots of love to you both.  I hope you enjoy these previews, safe travels back to Vancouver and we'll catch up soon!  xxxx

Oddfellows wedding, Chester - Sarah & Jamie sneak previews

Sarah & Jamie clearly have connections to old Mother Nature because Friday was VERY grey and VERY wet.  And their wedding could not have been more perfect! The stunning dress, the Jimmy Choos, a big red bus, the boys in blue, a cake of two sides, a raging debate that went on for hours (who would win in a fight between Superman and Batman? - I don't know if it ever got settled), classic literature, a cute library card table plan and the best bride & groom cushions ever. Fact.

Mr & Mrs Bates, thank you for having me along, it was a wonderful day with a top bunch of people and I hope everyone stopped crying eventually.  Totes emosh!   Lots of love, enjoy these previews and catch up when you're back from mini moon. xxxx

A springtime Portmeirion wedding - Kat & John highlights

Portmeirion in springtime, a lego themed cake, an elegant Charlotte Balbier dress and lace jacket, the cutest floral shoes, movie tables (complete with my favourite, Serenity), amazing family and friends and most importantly, a wonderful couple who are just so natural with one another it was beautiful to see and and a pleasure to photograph. Thanks to everyone for humouring me when I wanted to do an extra confetti shot so I could capture it from both sides - especially the bridesmaids who held some petals back!  It was also really great to meet and work with the talented Clark & Palmer for the first time - can't wait to see them bring it all to life.

Needless to say I adored every second of this wedding.  Kat & John - thank you for choosing me to capture your day.  I wish you a happy mini-moon and Happy Easter!  Catch up when you're back. xxx
