ASYLUM LONDON WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Friday saw me back at two of my favourite London venues, Asylum Chapel and One Friendly Place, with these two wonderful humans, Sev & Dan.

This last 18 months haven’t been an easy ride for any of us but these two have had more than their fair share of family heartbreak as well as the stress of having to move their wedding four times. So as you can imagine, the anticipation was huge and I think it all got a bit much for Sev at one point. She said to me afterwards “Literally the best day of my life… we knew it would be emotional but didn’t expect that, I think that’s why I got so overwhelmed”.

Sev and Dan have a love that’s very special, anyone can see that. It was so amazing to witness and I will always be thankful that they chose me to document their day. Not least because their friends and family are awesome to hang out with! And it was exceptionally stylish (Sev works in fashion so it’s to be expected!) with florals and table styling to die for. It was also amazing to see UK garage legend Kele Le Roc do her thing - she sang ‘My Love’ for the first dance which started slow and then kicked in half way through.

To the happiest of happy couples, thank YOU. I had a BALL. You welcomed me like an old friend, with such genuine warmth. I’m so glad the day surpassed your expectations after all the waiting and changes. So much love to you both. xxx
