A stylish Soughton Hall wedding, North Wales - Caroline & Pete

I don't have many words for once as moving house has totally broken me this week (removals men are doing EVERYTHING next time!).  Last Saturday was the wedding of these two hotties though and it was SUPER stylish and absolutely brilliant fun.  Caroline looked incredible in her beautiful Charlie Brear dress and Pete looked totally swoonworthy in his tux.  And yes, they have beautiful children.

Also really lovely to have my beautiful bride Abi along with me as second shooter.  Thank you! xx

Caroline & Pete... it was an absolute pleasure.  Hope you have had a wonderful first week of married bliss. xxx

The Ashes wedding, Staffordshire - Jemma & Matt

I've been itching to blog these!  I loved Sunday's wedding.... the fabulous laid back surroundings of The Ashes, the perfect Spring weather, Jemma's stunning Pronovias dress & lace shrug, the beautiful flowers, the travel themed details, the man in a bowler hat, the hymn-alternatives where everyone got up during the ceremony and sang 'All You Need Is Love' (and the fire alarm going off right in the middle), working with the gorgeous Tracey Christina Photography who came to second shoot (thank you!) and of course, the main event - the secret legends that are Jemma & Matt and their amazing friends and family.

It was SUCH a fun day.  Thank you both for completely trusting me to do my thing and for being so utterly bloody brilliant.  :)  I hope you have a wonderful honeymoon and I can't wait to catch up when you're back. Lots of love. xxx

A sunny winter Sandhole Oak Barn wedding - Julie & Dom

Finally... the first of many 2013 nuptials hits the blog,... and in serious style.  This is VERY popular wedding.  It was featured over on the fabulous Rock My Wedding and as if that wasn't exciting enough, you can now find it gracing the pages of the latest issue of Wedding magazine, out today!   So needless to say this is really an extra special one for me.  : )

I also had the amazing Jay Mountford second shooting, one of my BFFs and all round brilliant person and photographer.  Some of Jay's shots are included below and her favourites can be found on her blog.  THANK YOU JAY!  xxx

So Julie & Dom got married in February this year, on a perfect winter's day... with considerably less snow than on their engagement shoot and a beautiful sunset to boot.  It was really more like a spring day and Julie's flowers certainly screamed SPRING.  Beautiful blooms lady!  In fact beautiful everything.... a stunning one-of-a-kind dress, fabulous yellow shoes, lush bridesmaids dresses, delicious details and dapper suits for Dom and the boys.   The vinyl records table plan is I think my favourite to date.... a Fraggle Rock table for heaven's sake!

These guys are such a great couple, just up for fun all the time and so perfect for one another...  I have to admit to shedding a tear during the speeches. both from laughter at Julie's nephews amazing rap, and happy tears at the thought of the two of them heading off just a few weeks after the wedding to start their new life in New York City.  Jealous much?   I get regular messages popping up from Julie telling me how she's just off for a coffee and morning stroll through Central Park.... I could not be happier for you both, seriously.  Be seeing you out there for your 1 year anniversary shoot, yes?  ;-)

Huge congratulations, much love and every success for you both in your new jobs and life in the big apple.  xxxxx

A beautiful spring wedding at Iscoyd Park - Abi & Rich

When you get a beautiful spring day, a wonderful venue and a fantastic couple (where the bride is herself a wedding photographer) you have all the ingredients for a perfect day and that's what Abi & Rich had!

Abi created the incredible terrarium centrepieces herself, the bunting was the work of her mum and Rich's sister made the cake!  Talented family.  Even the menu was part of the garden/ woodland theme and the carrot cake dessert came served, complete with tiny carrot, in a plant pot covered in delicious 'dirt'.

Mr & Mrs E - welcome back from your mini-moon and enjoy these previews.  Abi, I know how weird it is the other side of the camera but thank you for trusting me and for my thoughtful gift.  I hope you like the results. xxx
