Beautiful Penpont House wedding in Brecon, Wales - Sarah & Shaun

I'm not sure what to say about Saturday without sounding too gushy... but balls to it.  It was one of my favourite weddings EVER... I am very lucky to have wonderful couples who always make me feel so welcome and like one of the gang but Sarah & Shaun took it to the next level somehow, as did their guests.

The venue, Penpont, has made it straight in to my top 3 (if not the top spot) for it's sheer beauty and character... something new around every corner.  I was like a kid in a sweet shop.

The weather was kind, the surroundings were perfect, the dress was breathtaking (Jenny Packham 'Bardot'... swoon), the food was absolutely incredible (www.cleverchefs.co.uk - aptly named) and the company was excellent - big shout out to table 7 and the very lovely Alex, Jennie, Andy & Helen in particular!  And on top of all this I had my brilliant second shooter Samantha Kay Photography along to help again, THANK YOU.

On a side note, Shaun wins 'cutest wedding gift' award with a special t-shirt for the new Mrs Doyle, a box of goodies including every Valentine's/other cute card they'd sent to one another over the last 10 years and a little glass box of all her favourite biscuits (malted milk and party rings, naturally) in case she got hungry.

Sarah & Shaun... thank you for choosing/trusting me and for giving up Glasto so you could have me!  I hope the photos make up for missing out on the mud for a year? You are an amazing couple, perfectly matched and I know you are going to have many happy years together. I couldn't be happier for you.  Not get your butts on that plane and have an amazing honeymoon. Ciao... lots of love. xxx
