The Great Hall at Mains wedding, Poulton-le-Fylde – Rebecca & Gary previews

Sunday was beautiful… everything about it.  The venue, the bride, the Stuart Parvin gown, the shoes, the church, the guests, even the weather… you get the idea. :)  It was also FUN.  Fish & chips, Jenga, Cole Page doing his thing during the meal.  Non stop!    The star of the show for me though was Grandad Bob – every time he spoke (or sang – ‘My Girl’… gulp) the room would be in tears.  Such a lovely man – seeing his proud face walking his granddaughter Rebecca down the aisle was wonderful.

Rebecca & Gary – congratulations!  I hope San Francisco is sunny and wonderful and that the rest of your trip is too.  Thank you for a fabulous day, I hope you love these previews!  xxxx

Coworth Park wedding, Ascot – Sally & Scot sneak previews

An intimate ceremony in a meadow and 5 course lunch with just their nearest and dearest and then late afternoon drinks and food with more friends and family and a party until the wee small hours.  It was a beautiful day and Coworth Park was the perfect setting.   After lunch Scot surprised Sally with a (frankly EPIC) video he’d made, telling her where they were going on their honeymoon – too many places to list!  It was emotional.  For both of them and for me!

Team S&S – thank you for choosing me to capture your special day… I loved being a part of it and your friends and family are all bloody lovely!  You were both so relaxed and fun and I was a bit sad to leave on Sunday truth be told!   Have an amazing honeymoon (Sally you definitely need at least 3 or 4 new dresses!) and we’ll catch up when you return from your adventure. Hope you like these previews. xxx

Pembroke Lodge wedding, Richmond, London – Helen & Simon sneak previews

Friday’s wedding was beautiful – I adore Pembroke Lodge (and have to give a shout out to David and the team who were amazing) and cannot wait to go back.  Set in Richmond Park with incredible views you would never think you were so close to London.  Then there was Helen’s stunning Jenny Packham wedding dress, her shoes, the car, THAT staircase covered entirely in flowers (yes, all real), the sunset, the cakes (flour AND flower varieties!) and the talented family members – Helen’s sister sang Ellie Goulding’s ‘How long will I love you’ during the ceremony and Simon’s daughter sang ‘The Power of Love’ by Frankie Goes To Hollywood as the first dance and it was just beautiful – I love that song.

It was a truly wonderful day and this pair probably have aching faces as I don’t think I’ve ever seen two people smile SO much.  Helen & Simon it was an absolute pleasure to photograph your wedding and I’m honoured you chose me Helen, given that you have worked with so many photographers over the years.  Thank you.  I hope you enjoy these previews whilst on honeymoon! xxxx

Finally thanks to Ami Robertson for coming along and being a quite brilliant second shooter (and future CPP bride!)  xxx

I have never seen such beautiful wedding photography before. Magical and such a lovely couple.

Wedding at Manchester Town Hall and Room Restaurant, Manchester – Lindsey & Chris sneak previews

My third and final wedding of the weekend was this beauty in Manchester and despite the rain it has to be one of my favourites.  The people, the venues, the atmosphere, the music and of course, the couple.  It was just such a brilliant day.

Lindsey & Chris – I’m gutted it’s over!  Keep in touch and have the most incredible time in New York…. I’m so envious of you seeing it for the first time.  It’s my favourite city on earth and I know you’ll love it.

My NYC tips would be – Top of the Rock; Battery Park & Staten Island Ferry; Grand Central Station & Pershing Square Cafe (right outside); Bryant Park chilling/people watching; Hill Country BBQ on West 26th Street (if you like meat and plenty of it); espresso martinis or any other cocktail at ‘Upstairs’ (roof terrace bar at The Kimberley Hotel); Serendipity 3 on East 60th Street (as camp as Christmas but the food is yummy and it’s a bit magical… the frozen hot chocolate was worth the visit alone).  I would also say hot dogs & Wonder Wheel at Coney Island but it’s a bit of a way out for your first trip – best save that til next time!

Festival wedding in Cheshire – Alice & James sneak previews

Want to get these up before the happy couple jet off on their 3 month (yes, I know) honeymoon so another short and sweet intro!  Saturday was a beautiful day… Mr & Mrs Pizey married at the beautiful Lewis Carroll church and then headed to the stunning festival themed marquee and ‘secret garden’ at Alice’s parents home.   I loved it, absolutely great day and such a cute couple – these two are always smiling!  Have an amazing time travelling guys.  I wonder where you will be when you’re viewing the wedding gallery?!  Anyway, we’ll try and have a good catch up when you’re back as I want to hear all about it!  xxxx
