In fact, it will feel like you don’t have a photographer at all. It will just feel like there’s another member of the gang there… with a couple of cameras hanging off her.
It’s my unobtrusive, relaxed approach that allows your guests to trust me; and this, in turn, that allows me to get photos of THEM as they really are. No awkward glances or stiff smiles, nothing forced or fake - just big grins, loud laughs and huge hugs.
I will capture the moments that might pass you by on the day but will bring you back to it in glorious Technicolour when you look back through your photos.
From the first time you lay eyes on one another dressed up to the nines, to the whispered hellos, the knowing glances, the speeches you’ll never forget (and the dance moves you wish some people would)… I’ll be there to immortalise it all.

Don’t you know we are the most awkward couple EVER to appear in front of a camera? >>>
About 90% of my couples say the same, and yet you see their lovely faces, smiling happy and relaxed on these very pages! Trust me, it’s a doddle. Most of the time you won’t even realise I’m there. And when we do head off for some photos of just the two of you a) it will only take about 10 minutes and b) you’ll have adrenaline AND a brand new spouse by your side, helping you to forget all about your camera worries. Plus I’m REALLY laid back. We won’t be taking it too seriously but you WILL get awesome photos. That is a promise.

My sparkling wit and charm. Not enough? Ok well there’s more and this really depends on the package you choose - if it’s the Martini package then you get my soul, the kitchen sink and a LOT of wedding photography related stuff too*.
*All packages include my time on the day (which varies depending on the package), the careful editing in my style and all of your edited high res images to download as you wish. This is via your own password protected gallery - if you send an enquiry you’ll get a couple of full wedding galleries to look through so you can see what I typically deliver for my couples and what you can expect. Do you work with a second photographer? >>>
Sometimes, yes. Certainly for larger weddings of say 100+ I’d always recommend having a second photographer as it literally means we can be in two places at once, cover more ground which of course means you get more photos of your friends and family. It also means we can cover prep for both of you so you each get to see what your beloved got up to before the ceremony.
How far will you travel? Length and breadth of the UK? Europe? Even further? >>>
I will travel wherever I’m needed. I’m based in Cheshire, UK. Most of my weddings are in the UK and Europe but I occasionally venture further and have photographed people in love as far away as Iceland, the US and Australia. Travel is included for all mainland England/Wales weddings. Accommodation costs are extra when needed.
Do you need a deposit from us, to secure our chosen wedding date? >>>
I do, yes. As a small business I can’t afford to ‘hold’ dates indefinitely as it means turning away other potential bookings so it’s ‘first past the post’, whoever books first gets the date. It’s just the fairest way.
Once you’ve confirmed, filled out the contract and paid the booking fee, I’m all yours! The booking fee is £1000 which secures your date and the remaining balance is then due 8 weeks before the big day.
Are you insured? (And other unsexy but important stuff) >>>
Yep. Fully insured including public liability insurance so if your venue requests proof of that I can send it over in a jiffy, no problem.
On the day I shoot with two cameras, I stash my bag with way too many spare memory cards and batteries and even spare lenses. And after your wedding I take EXTRA care to back-up your wedding photographs a number of times in a number of places until the images are safely, and metaphorically, in your hands. Honestly? This is what keeps photographers awake at night so trust me when I say, I have it covered.
