A golden hour engagement shoot - Kerry & Jon sneak previews

Us photographers here in the UK are always harping on about 'the light' we see in other photographers work... those in Australia or some parts of America... those blessed with beautiful light for most of the year.  So when we get a sunny spell here (known as summer) it's only natural that we take full advantage! One evening last week I met up with Kerry & Jon and the gorgeous Caitlin for a family style engagement shoot all around the beautiful village of Malpas.  Oh and Harry the Tibetan terrier came along too... and stole my heart.

Here are just a few preview shots... I can't wait for the wedding, shame it's still over a year away!  Kerry.... breathe.... ;-) xxxx

Sandhole Oak Barn engagement shoot - Julie & Dom

I'm so excited looking at these images.... because the gorgeous Julie & Dom get married at Sandhole Oak Barn THIS Saturday!  My first wedding of 2013 and it promises to be amazing...  they have put so much thought and hard work into the little details, I can't wait to see what they have created.   Hopefully there'll be a bit less ice and a lot more sun.... see you on Saturday guys!  xxxx

A Greenwich engagement - Liz & James

I think this is the last blog post from a May shoot... so I'm getting there slowly! Liz & James got in touch earlier this year after their original photographer cancelled on them.  I for one am delighted because it means I get to shoot their beautiful wedding in Pembrokeshire in a few weeks time AND I got to meet up with them at Greenwich Observatory, where James popped the question, for their engagement shoot.  :)

We went all over the park, stopped at a riverside pub overlooking the O2 and wandered around the impressive Old Royal Naval College.  It was just a fantastic afternoon with two extremely lovely people.  Ok... three if you count the squirrel... I'm sure you'll spot him!

I can't wait for September 1st... see you both then! xxx
