Tipi wedding at The Bells of Peover, Cheshire - Helen & Adam sneak previews

I'm going to keep this pretty short and sweet just tell you a little about Friday's wedding... the beautiful church and Bells of Peover pub right next door are picture postcard beautiful.  The torrential downpours forecast all day only arrived once Helen was safely in the church and stopped right before she and Adam came out, making way for sunshine all afternoon.   The best part was the huge clap of thunder right after Helen said "I will".  Hence the laughter (although there was plenty of it during the ceremony - thanks to the brilliant vicar). All this plus a really lovely group of people and an amazing couple who I hadn't even had chance to meet until the day itself but it didn't matter one jot.  They were so relaxed and intent on having the BEST time.  As it should be!  Helen & Adam - here are your previews and I will catch up with you once you return from your honeymoon! xxx

Chester Town Hall & The Cock O'Barton, Cheshire wedding - Hannah & Al

No it's not a duplicate... I have done two weddings recently at the Town Hall in Chester and then The Cock O'Barton... both for brides called Hannah... both of whom I used to work with.  And they know one another!  However they DIDN'T know about one another's wedding venue plans.  So spooky.  (Not to mention confusing!)

Anyway... just as before, it was a wonderful day with amazing weather, bags of emotion and a fantastic bunch of people.  Hannah & Al's beautiful little girl looked so cute in her Converse and in general all of the kids were adorable and highly entertaining.  I was there for the ceremony through to the speeches and was quite sad to leave which is always a sign of a good wedding.

Thank you guys, I loved spending time with you and your nearest & dearest.  Have a lovely mini-moon and catch up soon over a brew once you're in the new house!  xxxx

Iscoyd Park winter wedding - Nicola & Andy sneak previews

A beautiful venue, a perfect winter's day, a wonderful couple and a stunning Jenny Packham dress.  Friday was an amazing day!   Nicola & Andy... congratulations and thank you for braving the cold and clambering through woodland!  Catch up when you're back from your honeymoon.  xxxx

A sunny winter Sandhole Oak Barn wedding - Julie & Dom

Finally... the first of many 2013 nuptials hits the blog,... and in serious style.  This is VERY popular wedding.  It was featured over on the fabulous Rock My Wedding and as if that wasn't exciting enough, you can now find it gracing the pages of the latest issue of Wedding magazine, out today!   So needless to say this is really an extra special one for me.  : )

I also had the amazing Jay Mountford second shooting, one of my BFFs and all round brilliant person and photographer.  Some of Jay's shots are included below and her favourites can be found on her blog.  THANK YOU JAY!  xxx

So Julie & Dom got married in February this year, on a perfect winter's day... with considerably less snow than on their engagement shoot and a beautiful sunset to boot.  It was really more like a spring day and Julie's flowers certainly screamed SPRING.  Beautiful blooms lady!  In fact beautiful everything.... a stunning one-of-a-kind dress, fabulous yellow shoes, lush bridesmaids dresses, delicious details and dapper suits for Dom and the boys.   The vinyl records table plan is I think my favourite to date.... a Fraggle Rock table for heaven's sake!

These guys are such a great couple, just up for fun all the time and so perfect for one another...  I have to admit to shedding a tear during the speeches. both from laughter at Julie's nephews amazing rap, and happy tears at the thought of the two of them heading off just a few weeks after the wedding to start their new life in New York City.  Jealous much?   I get regular messages popping up from Julie telling me how she's just off for a coffee and morning stroll through Central Park.... I could not be happier for you both, seriously.  Be seeing you out there for your 1 year anniversary shoot, yes?  ;-)

Huge congratulations, much love and every success for you both in your new jobs and life in the big apple.  xxxxx

Sandhole Oak Barn engagement shoot - Julie & Dom

I'm so excited looking at these images.... because the gorgeous Julie & Dom get married at Sandhole Oak Barn THIS Saturday!  My first wedding of 2013 and it promises to be amazing...  they have put so much thought and hard work into the little details, I can't wait to see what they have created.   Hopefully there'll be a bit less ice and a lot more sun.... see you on Saturday guys!  xxxx
